·             Avoid using steel wool, abrasive cleaners, or cleaners with high amounts of ammonia or chlorination.
·             Do not use any sort of buffer and polishing machine in your laminate floors.
·             For  Stains like candlesticks or chewing gums, harden the place with ice and scrape it softly with plastic scraper like a credit card, for example, please make sure you don’t scratch the floor. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
·             A more frequent dust-mopping or vacuuming schedule may be required in very sandy areas such as a beachside home.
